Her walking mechanism was taken apart by Dr. Hubby and works perfectly like a dream as she floats along so easily.  Her head turns when she takes each step. Her body has been sanded to bring out the soft look to the plastic.  No repairs were needed on this dolls body.  No seam splits or cracks.  Her body looks new.

Her light blue eyes have been polished on our machine. She has the long white stemmed eye mechanism that is truly the best IDEAL ever made.  The eyes move back and forth with ease.  This is why I date her as a doll made in or around 1952. Her lashes are full.  Her eyebrows are are great and her lower lashes are great. Her eyes flirt from side to side.  We have installed our own platform inventions inside her head to prevent rolling, sinking, and crossing of the eyes.

Her make-up is original. D. Hubby blushed her hands and knees and sealed them with several coats of sealer.

I am quite proud of her hair which has a dark gray cast to it.  Pretty color.  When we received her, the hair was saran and was supposed to be in braids, however, the hair had been cut very short and there was no way to salvage it. So we used a replacement wig and styled it into the style she once was sold with.  This is the closest to a Saucy Walker doll's hair style possible without being saran.

Her little SW Replica very soft dress is special because Lois Pearson, our famous seamstress online has made it for this doll. She also made the replica ONESIE that matches the attached cotton slip on the dress as IDEAL did on their Saucy Walker Dolls. We added the new and very soft "GUND" duck for her to love and play with.  One photo above makes it look like the lil duck has a smudge on it's face.  It does not have anything on it, it is a shadow.

Her "Burnt Orange" (looks red in the photos but it is not red.) Double Sided satin ribbon for her hair and sash was sent to us from the UK which we had special ordered for this doll.  Lois made a sash for her dress out of the same print as the dress.  We will include that in the sale as well.  All bows have been stiffened to last a very long time in display.

Her vinyl vintage shoes with molded bows are made by IDEAL and her socks are replacement from Spain.
